Here are our general grading guidelines: NEW- A nearly perfect copy overall that generally looks and reads as if it were just pulled off the newsstand. Pages clean and bright. May be in original sealed mailing plastic bag. LIKE NEW- An excellent copy overall, pages clean and bright, which - Minor binding creases - Very light cover shelfwear/rubbing. VERY GOOD- A very good copy overall, complete, no missing pages, which may have some of the following minor imperfections: - Minor spine bending - Light page discoloration - Light rubbing or soiling on cover - Minor page folds - Minor spine wear - Minor pen/pencil marks. GOOD- A good copy overall, complete, no missing pages, which may have some of the following: - Spine bending - Loose pages - Cover tears - Rubbing or soiling on cover - Light to moderate page discoloration - Loose cover - Cover scratches - Bumped corners - Water rings - Slight water damage - Spine wear - Pen/pencil marks. ACCEPTABLE- A copy that's seen a lot of use. May have page or cover folds, tears, some heavy wear and rubbing, but is still readable and complete. No tape or other restoration.
